Daisy Chute EPK

Daisy Chute is a Grammy-award winning singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, often spotted wielding a guitar or banjo at many a festival and arts venue across the U.K. and beyond.

With a mix of Scottish and American heritage, Chute’s roots are transatlantic; her music is best described as folk and Americana, underpinned by her background in classical and jazz.

  • To contribute to debut album ‘Throne’

  • For compilation album of the year for ‘Birdsong Project’. Daisy Chute and Robert Thomas collaborated on a track entitled ‘Murmuration’

  • Songs of Solace won EP of 2022 from estimated folk and roots magazine FATEA

  • In February 2022, Daisy won the Take the Stage Lowden Guitars competition and was given a guitar and flown to Dubai to perform for UK National Day

  • In 2021 Daisy was one of the Drake Yolanda award recipients

  • In 2022, Daisy won International Songwriting Award (ISA) as Female artist of the year

  • In 2022, Daisy was selected to be an artist in residence at Sage Gateshead for their Summer studios programme

  • In 2021 Daisy won the Grand Prize from Kawai Pianos for her song ‘Music Is There’

  • In 2018 Daisy was overall winner of Coffee Music Project in London with her song ‘London’s on Fire’ and was a runner up in 2021 for the international online competition for her song about coffee ‘Coffee in Your Cup’

  • In 2021, Daisy won an Arts Council Grant for her co-written musical about witch trials ‘COVEN’ which is now in development with producers Kindred Partners
